CesiumJS Bermuda & Liverpool
First Bit of Visualisation work
This project involved using CesiumJS to make a 3D explorable representation of Bermuda. While I could've stopped at just adding OSM (OpenStreetMap) Buildings. I thought it worthwhile to add some additional toggleable layers that showed entities like waterways, road conditions, historical storms paths etc. This is still an on-going project, with better ariels scans in the works to increase fidelity.
Adapting Meta Liverpool
The VEC also has an ongoing project called 'Meta Liverpool', a digital twin inside of unreal engine that uses pixel streaming. This can be used for areas such as town planning by looking at traffic simulation or solar panel placement. I decided to make a version of this in CesiumJS that is runnable in a browser, this way it was more distributable to clients.
